The Summit Viper SDC is light - only 20lbs with a seat and cables. It is also portable - the frame nests together and packs on your back. The solid front bar makes it easy to use - no supporting your weight on your arms. Just sit on the bar and let your legs do the work. The frame design works just as well for bow hunting as with a rifle. It can do it all - and it is no wonder why the Viper is so popular.
We have made several changes in the last 14 years to make it even better. Aluminum construction, More comfortable seat, QuickDraw cable attachment, RapidCimb Stirrips, Bent Cable arms and now we are improving it yet again. The SD in the name stands for sound deadening - the C is for the all new camo covering. Summit's new Dead Metal sound deadening technology is available on all climbers for 2011. It works by filling in critical parts of the platform with a custom engineered expanding foam. We know that every little bit of noise reduction goes a long way in keeping you concealed and that is why we spent years developing this stand improvement.
