Accessories from Summit Treestands serve many purposes, including added comfort, storage, maintenance, and protection. Find everything from safety lines and utility straps to storage bags, rests, and seats.
Summit accessories allow hunters to build a complete system around every stand.
The accessories you add determine how long you stay, how quiet you are, and how quickly you’re ready for a shot. Summit’s accessory catalog covers every variable: comfort seating, weapon management, gear storage, and stand maintenance. Whether you’re outfitting a new stand from scratch or upgrading one that’s been hunting hard for years, every piece is designed to integrate cleanly with Summit’s climbing treestands, hang-on treestands, and harnesses.
With numerous accessories across different categories, the fastest way to shop is to start with your biggest gap. Here’s how the lineup breaks down by purpose:
What types of accessories does Summit make?
Summit’s accessory lineup covers five categories: treestand accessories (comfort, storage, weapon management), harness accessories (fall protection ropes and carabiners), replacement parts (cables, straps, stirrups), apparel, and furniture (ground-level and shooting house seating). Together they cover every variable that determines how long and how safely you can hunt from an elevated position.
What is the FasTrack® system?
FasTrack® is Summit’s slide-in accessory rail system built into the seat frame of the PRO model climbing treestands. It allows hunters to attach, remove, and reposition accessories tool-free and rattle-free at height. Compatible FasTrack® accessories include the Bow Holder, and Ultimate Hook. Non-PRO Summit stands and third-party stands can use the Universal Bow Holder instead.
Do Summit accessories work with other brands' treestands?
Many Summit accessories have broad compatibility. The Universal Bow Holder, Universal Footrest, and safety ropes are designed to fit most commercially available treestands. FasTrack® accessories are Summit-specific (requiring the FasTrack® rail). Replacement cables and shrink tube are designed for Summit climbing treestands specifically.
What accessories should I buy when I get a new climbing treestand?
For any new climbing treestand, prioritize safety first: pair your stand with the 8 Ft. Lineman’s Rope (included with all climber purchases) for climb protection and the 30 Ft. Safety Line (required for safe operation of a hang-on stand) for continuous fall protection at height.
What is the Captain's Chair® and how is it different from a treestand?
The Captain’s Chair® is a portable tree seat that straps to any straight tree, providing an elevated seated hunting position without a dedicated treestand. It’s designed for hunters who want a lightweight, quick-setup at ground-level.
Which Summit accessories help with bowhunting specifically?
Bowhunters benefit most from accessories that maximize clearance and minimize noise. The FasTrack® Bow Holder or Universal Bow Holder keep your bow accessible and quiet. The Dual Position Seat adjusts to a high position that sits flush with the front bar for a full draw. The Universal Footrest reduces leg fatigue during long sits, keeping you sharp when a deer steps into range. The Retractable Gear Hoist ensures your bow reaches you after you’re safely clipped in (TMA guidelines specify never climbing with a nocked arrow or loaded firearm).
How do I keep my treestand quiet while hunting?
Sound control starts with your stand setup: Replacement Shrink Tube on your cables eliminates metal-to-metal contact during your climb, and the Utility Straps keep your stand secured tight to prevent rattling. For storage, the Deluxe Front Storage Bag keeps gear organized and padded to prevent noise from movement.
When should I replace Summit treestand accessories vs. the stand itself?
Worn cables, stretched straps, compressed seats, and cracked stirrups are all normal consumable wear, and each has a direct replacement in the replacement parts catalog. Inspect the frame and all load-bearing components each season. TMA guidelines recommend replacing any component that shows fraying, corrosion, or structural damage immediately, and replacing safety-critical straps and ropes after 3–5 years regardless of visible condition.
Are Summit accessories covered under the Summit warranty?
Summit’s limited lifetime warranty covers structural defects in manufacturing for treestands. Accessories and replacement parts are covered for manufacturing defects under a separate limited warranty, but not for normal wear.
