Your stand, your setup.

Summit treestand accessories are built for hunters who seek personalized comfort, longer sits, and a quieter setup.

The difference between a two-hour sit and an all-day hunt often comes down to how comfortable you are in your rig. The right seat, the right footrest, and having your gear within reach without making a sound can make all the difference. Summit’s accessory lineup including seats, weapon mounts, footrests, storage, safety lines, and maintenance parts is designed to let every hunter dial in their stand exactly the way they hunt. Whether you’re adding a bow holder for convenience on an afternoon sit or replacing your cables before the season opens, Summit has the part for it.

Comfort, Weapon Mounts, and Safety Essentials

Most hunters shopping treestand accessories are solving one of three problems: they want to stay more comfortable, mount their weapon more efficiently, or keep their safety system and hardware up to spec. Here’s how to find what you need:

FAQ

What types of treestand accessories does Summit offer?

Summit’s treestand accessories cover many categories: seats, armpads, weapon mounts (bow and rifle), FasTrack® snap-in accessories, storage and carry systems, climbing sticks, cables and straps, and stirrups. Harness-specific accessories like lineman’s ropes and tether straps are organized under harness accessories.

What is the FasTrack® system and which stands are compatible?

FasTrack® is Summit’s proprietary tool-free accessory mounting rail, built directly into select PRO model climbing treestands. It allows you to slide in and remove accessories  like the FasTrack® Bow Holder, and Ultimate Hook silently and without tools. FasTrack® is currently available on the Viper® PRO SD and Dual Threat® PRO SD.

Which Summit seat upgrade is right for me?

It depends on how long you sit and how you hunt. The new Mesh Seat is a straightforward comfort upgrade with a breathable mesh design. The Mesh Seat + Armpads adds armrest support for extended sits and is available only on summitstands.com. The Dual Position Seat + Armpads has two height positions, sitting at the classic climber height or flush with the frame, making it the best choice for bowhunters. The Surround Seat wraps around you for maximum all-day support.

Do I need a separate bow holder for my Summit treestand?

Most hunters find a bow holder essential for keeping their bow at the ready without holding it for hours. If your stand has FasTrack® rail integration, the FasTrack® Bow Holder slides in silently in seconds. For any other Summit stand, the Universal Bow Holder attaches fits a wide range of stand frames and offers comparable convenience. Both keep your bow in a consistent, repeatable position so you can grab and draw in one quiet motion when a deer is in range.

What footrest options does Summit offer and why does it matter for a long sit?

Summit offers two footrest options: the Universal Footrest, which can be positioned straight out or angled upward, and the Footrest Kit. A footrest lets your legs rest in a natural position, extends how long you can stay comfortable, and reduces the fidgeting that gives you away.

How does the Retractable Gear Hoist work?

The Retractable Gear Hoist is a compact, spring-loaded rope system that lets you haul your bow, pack, or firearm up to your stand after you’ve safely reached your desired height. The Ultimate Bow Rope is a simpler 30 ft. rope option for the same purpose. Always unload firearms and unstring crossbows before hoisting.

What safety line options does Summit offer?

Summit’s 30 Ft. Safety Line is a continuous lifeline that attaches to the tree above your hang-on stand, allowing you to remain connected from the moment you leave the ground to the moment you return. It uses a Prusik-style knot that slides easily as you move but locks immediately under fall-arrest load. The 8 Ft. Lineman’s Rope is used during the climb itself, keeping you anchored to the tree at all times while ascending or descending. Both work with any Summit safety harness.

How often should I replace my treestand cables and wear components?

Inspect all cables, straps, stirrups, and attachment hardware before every use and replace anything that shows fraying, corrosion, cracking, or deformation. At minimum, Summit recommends inspecting replacement cables and RapidClimb® Stirrups at the start of each season. Most components have a finite service life regardless of visible condition. Never hunt on hardware you know to be compromised. A complete inventory of serviceable components is available on the replacement parts page.
